You will want to get this to level10 for the built in vortex ability.
Once you hit level 25 and unlock whirlwind start cooking this skill. You can craft level 1 items to use lesser materials and you don't need to replace them until after you hit 70. Epic costs less materials than legendary and will give you a significant boost in damage.
